Season Finale - Flag Festival

The fields were mowed short just before the rains and Black River has never looked better. The grounds will be perfect, even for the tackle matches, and those wanting to pick wild berries along the sides of the fields better bring your pails. Chris is already out there, I guess to add to the fruit counts for tomorrow.

Morristown Rugby Tournament

Mine Hill Rugby Tournament

Mine Hill Tigers, Parsippany Panthers, and the Morristown Colonials were all on hand when the first whistle blew. The Denville Dawgs looked very strong with many returning players on the roster. This year the eagle division (7th-8th-9th graders) is 50 players stronger.

Montville Rugby Tournament

Week Three: The Denville Dawgs were hosted by the Montville Wanders along with the Parsippany Panthers and Black River Renegades (Chester) on July 7th at the Montville Community fields. A great day of rugby was had by all, but the Denville Dawgs had their first losing day of the season, going 6-9-2 on the day with the results that were reported.

Morris Rugby Adopts Two Families For the Holidays

For the past several years, Morris Rugby has adopted a Morris County family to provide them with some assistance during the Holiday season. This year, we are extending our generosity to two families, each with three children. This Morris tradition has been very successful and incredibly rewarding.

A Message from Montville's Coach Craig

Over the last 7 years some 450 to 500 kids have participated in Montville's program. I will remember every smiling face I saw as director with fondness forever. I also dedicated the entire summers program to David Gibson who at 17 left us way too early one year ago this weekend.
